The action requires a saved connection containing the access token, a Meta phone number ID, a recipient phone number, and message text. It does not implement a template-message editor in this action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prepare the WhatsApp connection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<li>Obtain a suitable WhatsApp Cloud API access token and phone number ID from your Meta developer setup.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Open <strong>Agent Workflows \u2192 Connections \u2192 Add New<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Set <strong>Integration<\/strong> to <code>whatsapp<\/code>, enter a label, and choose <strong>API Key<\/strong> for the access token.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Enter the token in the <strong>API Key<\/strong> field and save the connection. The built-in verifier recognizes the <code>whatsapp<\/code> identifier and checks the token during creation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Screenshot to add: WhatsApp API Key connection setup<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure WhatsApp Cloud Send Message<\/h2>\n\n\n\n\n<li>Add the <strong>WhatsApp Cloud Send Message<\/strong> action to your workflow.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Choose the saved connection in <strong>WhatsApp access token connection<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Enter <strong>Phone number ID (from Meta)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Enter the recipient in <strong>Recipient phone (digits, country code, no +)<\/strong>. The action removes non-digit characters before sending.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Enter the message in <strong>Message (supports {{trigger.fields.*}} tokens)<\/strong>. Trigger field tokens can be interpolated before the action runs.<\/li>\n\n\n<li>Save the workflow and test with a recipient and message you are authorized to contact.<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Screenshot to add: WhatsApp Cloud Send Message action fields<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understand the result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The action sends a JSON text-message request to Meta&#8217;s Graph API and returns a success or error result, including the HTTP status when available. A successful API response does not guarantee that a person read the message. Review the node result and the provider&#8217;s message status separately when diagnosing delivery issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use a controlled test and avoid including credentials or unnecessary personal data in message text.
