In plugin version 2.1.7, its source and query controls are in the widget\u2019s <strong>Content \u2192 Post Settings<\/strong> section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure the Post Flipbox query<\/h2>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>WordPress dashboard \u2192 Pages \u2192 All Pages<\/strong>, edit the target page with Elementor, and select the <strong>Post Flipbox<\/strong> widget.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Content \u2192 Post Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under <strong>Post Type<\/strong>, choose the source. If taxonomy dropdowns are available for that type, select a term only when you want to filter the results.<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Show Post<\/strong> to the number of posts to request. Its default is <strong>6<\/strong>. The minimum is <strong>-1<\/strong>, which WordPress interprets as requesting all matching posts; use this carefully on large sites.<\/li>\n<li>Set <strong>Order<\/strong> to <strong>Asc<\/strong> or <strong>Desc<\/strong>. The default is <strong>Asc<\/strong> (stored as <code>ASC<\/code>).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Update<\/strong>, then verify the cards on the published page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Understand taxonomy filtering<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plugin creates taxonomy dropdowns from the taxonomies registered for the selected post type. Leaving a dropdown on \u201cSelect \u2026\u201d does not apply a term filter. If terms are selected from multiple taxonomy dropdowns, the query uses an <strong>AND<\/strong> relationship: a post must satisfy all selected conditions. If too few cards appear, remove filters one at a time and check the source post\u2019s assigned terms.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the returned posts<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The frontend query requests posts with the <strong>publish<\/strong> status, so drafts and private posts are not included. Confirm that matching content is published and assigned to the chosen terms.
