The plugin ZIP declares WordPress 5.8 or later and PHP 7.4 or later, and TranslateSense requires Polylang for language configuration and translation relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option 1: Install from the WordPress dashboard<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sign in to your WordPress dashboard with an account that can install plugins.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Search for <strong>TranslateSense<\/strong>. If it appears in the Plugin Directory, select <strong>Install Now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>When installation finishes, select <strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that Polylang is installed and active.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Option 2: Install from a ZIP file<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtain the TranslateSense ZIP from the distribution channel you use and keep the ZIP file compressed.<\/li>\n<li>In WordPress, go to <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New Plugin \u2192 Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the TranslateSense ZIP file and choose <strong>Install Now<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>After WordPress completes the installation, select <strong>Activate Plugin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm that Polylang is active before configuring translation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Update an existing installation from a ZIP file<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Back up your site and database before updating, especially if you are updating a production site.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain the intended newer TranslateSense ZIP and check its version and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New Plugin \u2192 Upload Plugin<\/strong> and select the ZIP file.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Install Now<\/strong>. If WordPress offers a replacement option for the installed plugin, review the version details and choose the option to replace the current plugin with the uploaded version.<\/li>\n<li>Wait for WordPress to confirm the update. If WordPress does not offer a replacement option or reports a conflict, stop and follow the message shown by your installation rather than deleting plugin files blindly.<\/li>\n<li>Open <strong>Plugins \u2192 Installed Plugins<\/strong> and confirm TranslateSense remains installed and active.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use a ZIP intended for the same plugin and distribution. Do not assume that ZIPs from different distribution channels have identical update behavior. Avoid deleting the existing plugin as a routine update step; first review the WordPress message and ensure you have a backup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open TranslateSense settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With Polylang active, open <strong>Languages \u2192 TranslateSense<\/strong>. If Polylang is not active, the plugin registers its fallback page under <strong>Settings \u2192 TranslateSense<\/strong>.
