TranslateSense obtains model options from the provider configuration when available and includes fallback choices in its settings interface. Do not assume every listed model is available to every account or remains supported by the provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choose a model<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <strong>Languages \u2192 TranslateSense<\/strong> when Polylang is active.<\/li>\n<li>Enable the provider you want to use and configure its credentials, or complete the WordPress AI Connector setup if that path is shown.<\/li>\n<li>For a connected provider, locate its <strong>Translation Model<\/strong> dropdown.<\/li>\n<li>Select a model that is present in the current list.<\/li>\n<li>Set the matching provider as <strong>Default Engine<\/strong> if you want it selected by default.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Save Settings<\/strong> to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Default model values<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On first activation, the stored defaults are <code>gpt-4o-mini<\/code> for OpenAI and <code>gemini-1.5-flash<\/code> for Google Gemini. These are configuration defaults, not a guarantee that the provider account currently supports those models.
