It detects the editor type and uses the matching content rules for Gutenberg, Elementor, or Classic Editor. The editor only processes fields supported by the active mapping rules; it does not guarantee that every block, widget, or custom field will be translated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Before you begin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Activate TranslateSense and Polylang.<\/li>\n<li>Configure the source and target languages in Polylang and confirm the source post has the correct language.<\/li>\n<li>Connect or activate at least one translation provider in TranslateSense or WordPress AI Connectors, as applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the post type is enabled for translation in Polylang.<\/li>\n<li>For builder content, check the relevant XML mapping rules before translating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Translate a post or page in the editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the source content and use Polylang&#8217;s language controls to create or open its target-language translation.<\/li>\n<li>Open the target translation in its matching editor. TranslateSense resolves the source post from the saved source relationship or Polylang translation mapping.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Translate Page<\/strong> in the TranslateSense editor control. Depending on the editor, the control appears in the editor panel, the side meta box, or beside <strong>Add Media<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In <strong>Choose Translation Provider<\/strong>, select an active provider that is available for the target language, then start translation.<\/li>\n<li>Review the source strings, statuses, and editable translated text in <strong>Review Translations<\/strong>. Correct any wording that needs attention.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Apply to Page<\/strong> to put the translations into the open editor.<\/li>\n<li>Use WordPress&#8217;s normal <strong>Save<\/strong>, <strong>Update<\/strong>, or <strong>Publish<\/strong> action to save the target post or page. If the review modal reports no translatable strings matching the XML rules, review the relevant editor mapping and check the source content.
