A change to the XML configuration can affect later extraction, so make a focused edit and verify it on a representative page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Open the Elementor configuration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <strong>Languages \u2192 TranslateSense<\/strong> when Polylang is active, or <strong>Settings \u2192 TranslateSense<\/strong> otherwise.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Elementor<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Choose <strong>Edit ELEMENTOR Config<\/strong> to review the builder&#8217;s XML, or choose the widget&#8217;s <strong>Edit Config<\/strong> control to edit that widget&#8217;s rule.<\/li>\n<li>Find the widget by its exact identifier and inspect the configured field paths.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make and save a focused change<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update only the field path or mapping detail that needs correction.<\/li>\n<li>Keep the XML structure and closing tags balanced. Nested field paths may use the <code>&gt;<\/code> separator.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Save Config<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If saving fails, read the validation error and correct the XML syntax before trying again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Verify the result<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Test a page that uses the affected widget and field.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the expected text is extracted and the translated output is correct.<\/li>\n<li>Check that the rule has not unintentionally included style, layout, or unrelated fields.<\/li>\n<li>If the field is still missing, review <a href=\"\/docs\/ai-automatic-translation-addon-for-polylang\/understand-content-field-mapping\/\">Understand Content Field Mapping<\/a> and <a href=\"\/docs\/ai-automatic-translation-addon-for-polylang\/why-are-elementor-fields-missing-from-the-translated-page\/\">the Elementor troubleshooting guide<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TranslateSense validates XML syntax before saving the configuration, but a syntactically valid rule can still point to the wrong field.
