Configure the form in the AI Assistant settings, then review captured records in the AI Leads area. Lead capture is disabled by default in the plugin source, so enable it deliberately and test the complete visitor-to-lead workflow before relying on it.

Lead capture and qualification: how it works

When lead capture is enabled, the chatbot can present a contact form during a relevant conversation. The visitor can submit the configured contact and qualification fields. The plugin saves a lead record, calculates a score from the submitted information, and can send an email notification or dispatch a configured webhook. If Support Center integration is enabled and configured, the lead workflow can also connect with support ticket handling.

The qualification score is a prioritization aid, not a guarantee that a visitor will buy. Review the captured details and conversation context before deciding how to follow up.

Enable and configure lead capture

In WordPress admin, open Click to Chat → AI Assistant.

Open Chatbot Settings and locate the AI Lead Capture & CRM Integration panel.

Turn on the lead capture control. The plugin source defaults this option to off unless it has already been enabled in the saved chatbot settings.

Review the lead form title and subtitle, then choose which fields to show under Lead Capture & Qualification Fields to Show in Chat.

Set the Auto-Qualification Score Threshold (0 – 100). The source default is 70 points; leads at or above the configured threshold are automatically classified as Qualified.

Review AI Intent & Urgency Analysis, email alerts, the notification destination, and any CRM webhook options available in your installed version.

Click Save Settings in the AI Assistant settings header and wait for the save confirmation. If the screen reports a save error, resolve it before testing.

Choose the information to collect

The source provides these field controls under Lead Capture & Qualification Fields to Show in Chat:

Full Name

Email Address

Phone / WhatsApp

Company / Org

Company Size

Budget Range

Purchase Timeline

Product / Service Interest

Requirement / Notes

In the source defaults, name, email, phone, budget, timeline, interest, and requirement are enabled. Company and company size are optional and disabled by default. Show the field checkboxes and score threshold without exposing visitor information, webhook secrets, or other credentials. This image is a placeholder, not a captured screenshot.

Understand qualification scores and statuses

The plugin calculates a 0–100 lead score using submitted signals such as contact information, budget, purchase timeline, company profile, product interest, and requirement text. The configured threshold determines whether a new lead is initially marked Qualified or New. The scoring details and intent label provide context, but they should not replace human review.

Open Click to Chat → AI Assistant → AI Leads to review captured records. The interface includes lead filters such as All Leads, New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, and Discarded. Select a lead to review its available details and conversation transcript, then update its status according to your follow-up process.

Test the complete workflow

Save the lead capture settings.

Open a front-end page where the AI Assistant is available and start a test conversation that is appropriate for lead collection.

Submit the form using test contact details and the fields you enabled.

Return to Click to Chat → AI Assistant → AI Leads and check that the new record appears.

Review its score, intent information, captured fields, and available transcript.

If email notifications or a CRM webhook are configured, verify receipt at the destination using test data.

Confirm that any support-ticket integration behaves as expected if Support Center is enabled.

Manage captured lead data carefully

Lead records can contain personal contact information and conversation details. Restrict dashboard access to authorized staff, transfer exported files securely, and follow your site’s privacy, retention, and deletion policies. The plugin source protects administrative lead-list, detail, status, delete, and CSV-export endpoints with an admin permission check; this does not remove your responsibility to control access to exported data.

Related lead management guides

Configure Conversational Lead Capture — review the capture form and field configuration.

Review Lead Intent Scores — interpret the score alongside the lead’s details.

Manage Lead Pipeline Stages — update a lead’s follow-up status.

Review AI Chat Transcripts — inspect the conversation context associated with a lead.

Export Captured Leads — export records as CSV and handle the file securely.

Configure Dragwyb Click to Chat lead capture, choose visitor fields, set the qualification threshold, review AI lead scores, and manage captured records.

["post-91","doc","type-doc","status-publish","hentry
["GET
