Use this guide to prepare WordPress and Polylang for TranslateSense, install the plugin, and configure the languages you want to translate between. TranslateSense adds AI-assisted translation workflows to supported WordPress editing experiences and uses Polylang for language configuration and translation relationships.
Get started
- TranslateSense Overview — learn what the plugin does and which workflows are documented.
- Install TranslateSense — install from the WordPress dashboard or use a plugin ZIP, including ZIP-based updates.
- Check Translation Requirements — confirm the WordPress, PHP, and Polylang prerequisites.
- Configure Polylang Languages — prepare the source and target languages.
- Set Up Polylang Translation Pairs — check that language versions of the same content are associated correctly.
Where to find TranslateSense
When Polylang is active, open Languages → TranslateSense in the WordPress dashboard. If Polylang is not active, TranslateSense registers a fallback page under Settings → TranslateSense; activate Polylang before using translation workflows.
