After installation, activate the addon and confirm that Elementor is active. The addon depends on Elementor and checks the active plugin path elementor/elementor.php.
Activate the addon
- In the WordPress dashboard, open Plugins → Installed Plugins.
- Find Flipbox Addon for Elementor.
- If the plugin is inactive, select Activate. If it is already active, leave it enabled.
Check the Elementor dependency
- On the same Plugins → Installed Plugins screen, find Elementor.
- If Elementor is installed but inactive, select Activate. If it is not installed, install it from Plugins → Add New Plugin, then activate it.
- If the addon displays an administrator notice that Elementor is required, return to the Plugins screen and confirm Elementor is active.
Confirm the widgets load
- Open Pages → All Pages and edit a page, or choose Pages → Add New to make a test page.
- Select Edit with Elementor and wait for the editor to load.
- In the widget panel, search for Ultimate Flipbox. Also check Post Flipbox and Story Flipbox if those are the widgets you need.
- Drag the required widget onto the canvas and select it. Confirm that its settings panel appears.
If a widget is missing
- Confirm both plugins are active and reload the Elementor editor.
- Search using the exact widget names rather than only the word “Flipbox.”
- Review any WordPress admin notice or activation error. If the issue remains, record the plugin versions and exact error before further troubleshooting.

When the widget is available, continue to Create Your First Flipbox.
