Flipbox Addon for Elementor Overview

Compare Ultimate Flipbox, Post Flipbox, and Story Flipbox, then follow the exact Elementor navigation path to add the widget and open its controls.

Flipbox Addon for Elementor provides three widgets. Choose one based on whether you need a single hand-built card, cards filled from WordPress content, or a collection of individually configured items.

Open Elementor and find the widget

  1. In WordPress, go to Pages → All Pages and open the page you want to edit. To start a new page, use Pages → Add New.
  2. Select Edit with Elementor. Wait for the Elementor editor to load.
  3. In the left widget panel, use the search field and type the exact widget name: Ultimate Flipbox, Post Flipbox, or Story Flipbox.
  4. Drag the widget from the panel onto the page canvas, or select it if your Elementor interface supports click-to-add.
  5. Select the widget on the canvas to display its settings in the left panel.

Choose the widget

  • Ultimate Flipbox: one card whose front and back content you enter manually.
  • Post Flipbox: cards populated from a WordPress content query. Use this when the card content should follow selected posts or a supported post type.
  • Story Flipbox: a collection of manually configured flipbox items.

Find the widget settings

  • For Ultimate Flipbox, choose Content → Flipbox Content to edit the Front and Back tabs, or Content → Layout Settings to find preset and animation controls.
  • For Post Flipbox, choose Content → Post Settings to configure the content query, Content → Post Content for front/back display options, and Content → Layout Settings for layout and animation controls.
  • For Story Flipbox, choose Content → Flipbox Items to edit items and Content → Layout Settings for layout and animation controls.
  • To style a widget, select its Style tab and open the relevant section. The source registers sections such as Container Box Settings, Title Style, Description Style, Icon Style, and Button Style; carousel widgets also register Slider Navigation.

Save and check

  1. Preview the page and test the front/back interaction.
  2. Check that the selected widget displays the intended content source.
  3. Select Update in Elementor to save your changes.
