Configure Click-to-Flip Interaction

Set Event Type or Animation Event to Click and test deliberate click-based activation on the published Flipbox.

  • Open the page in the Elementor editor.
  • Select the Ultimate Flipbox widget.
  • Open the Content tab.
  • Expand Layout Settings.
  • Locate Event Type.
  • Open the Event Type selector.
  • Choose Click.
  • Preview the interaction and click Update to save.
  • For Post Flipbox, select that widget and use its Event Type control.
  • For Story Flipbox, select that widget and locate Animation Event instead.

Choose Default or Click

  • Default: preserves the widget’s normal hover-driven behavior. This is the source default.
  • Click: uses click events to toggle the card’s active state in the frontend script.

The selector does not contain a separate option named Hover. After saving, test the published page and confirm that the back-side content is accessible. If the card includes buttons or links, check that visitors can still activate those controls as intended instead of unintentionally flipping the card.

Screenshot to add: the selected widget’s Content → Layout Settings panel with the correct interaction control expanded and both Default and Click visible. This is a placeholder, not a captured screenshot.
