Each Story Flipbox item is edited inside Content → Flipbox Items. Expand an item and use its Front, Back, and Style tabs to change one card without changing the content of every other card.
Edit the front content
- In WordPress, open Pages → All Pages, choose the page, and click Edit with Elementor.
- Select the Story Flipbox widget, then open Content → Flipbox Items.
- Expand the item you want to edit and select its Front tab. The repeater row label is based on the front-side Title.
- Edit Title and Description as needed.
- Choose Icon Type: Icon is the default for a new repeater item; Icon Image and Icon Text are alternatives. Complete the corresponding control that appears.
- Front-side Enable Button is off by default. Turn it on to reveal Button Text, whose new-item default is “Click Here”. The Button URL field has an extra condition: it appears only when Enable Back is off. If the back is enabled, the Front tab’s URL field is hidden by the plugin. The source default URL for a new item is
#when that field is available. Leave the front button switch off if no front button is needed.

Edit the back content
- Select the same item’s Back tab.
- Enable Back is on by default. Leave it on to show the reverse side; turn it off to make the card front-only. Back content controls depend on this switch.
- Edit the back-side Title and Description.
- Choose the back-side Icon Type and complete its matching control. The field default is Icon, but the preloaded sample items may use different values.
- Back-side Enable Button is on by default. When it is on, edit Button Text and Button URL. Their new-item defaults are “Click Here” and
#; replace the placeholder URL with the intended destination.
Screenshot to add: The Back tab of an expanded item, showing Enable Back and Enable Button, plus Button Text and Button URL after confirming both switches are enabled. This is a placeholder, not an existing screenshot.
Customize one item’s colors
Select the item’s Style tab inside Content → Flipbox Items. These are per-item color controls, not the widget-wide typography or spacing settings.
- Front controls: Front Background, Front Title Color, Front Desc Color, Front Icon Color, and Front Button Color.
- If Enable Back is on, configure Back Background, Back Title Color, Back Desc Color, Back Icon Color, and Back Button Color.
- Use colors with enough contrast against the text and icon colors. Leave a color unchanged if the current appearance is already suitable.
Screenshot to add: An expanded item’s Style tab showing the Front Background and front element color controls, followed by the Back Background and back element color controls where Enable Back is on. This is a placeholder, not an existing screenshot.
Save and verify item changes
- Click Elementor’s Update button after editing.
- Preview the saved page and inspect each edited card’s front and back.
- Test each visible button and confirm its destination is correct.
- Check text contrast and card order on desktop, tablet, and mobile.
