Built-in templates provide a ready-made form structure that you can adapt instead of starting with an empty canvas. Smart Form Builder by Dragwyb includes templates for contact forms, business requests, marketing lead generation, and product feedback.
Open and browse the template library
- Open the form editor and click the folder-plus icon labelled Open Template Library in the header.
- In Form Template Library, choose a category: All Templates, Contact Forms, Business Request, Marketing Lead Gen, or Product Feedback.
- Use the search box to search by template name, description, or keyword. The library also provides a filter for All Templates or Popular.
- Click the preview control to inspect a larger preview before inserting the template.
Choose a built-in template
The installed package contains these template choices:
- Contact Forms: Simple Contact Form, Detailed Customer Inquiry, and Job Application Intake.
- Business Request: Vendor Registration Form, Purchase Order Request, and Travel & Expense Claim.
- Marketing Lead Gen: Newsletter Subscription Form, Free E-Book Access, and Webinar Seat Registration.
- Product Feedback: Product Experience Rating, Website Experience Rating, and Support Agent Performance.
Insert a template safely
When you are ready, click Insert Template on the template card. The editor asks you to confirm because inserting a template replaces the current form fields and can discard unsaved changes. If you have already built or edited the form, save your work first or cancel and make a backup before continuing.
- Confirm the insertion warning only when you are ready to replace the current canvas.
- Review the inserted field order, labels, placeholders, required states, and any conditional or step configuration.
- Review the form’s name, notifications, and submission-related settings rather than assuming the template already matches your workflow.
- Use the editor’s Frontend Preview and submit a test entry.
- Click Save in the editor header to save the customized form.
Template library limitations
The library loads the templates bundled with the installed plugin package. This feature is a starting point for building a form; the template should still be reviewed and customized for your site, audience, and submission process. Insertion is a replacement operation, not a merge that keeps the current fields.
