The Visual Canvas lets you build a workflow by adding nodes and connecting them in the order they should run. Trigger data and outputs from earlier steps can be mapped into later nodes. Use the guides below to build, organize, map, and test a workflow before activating it.

Build and test your workflow
- Create Workflow Nodes — choose a trigger, agent, tool, or action and add it to the canvas.
- Arrange Workflow Nodes — move nodes and connect the steps in the intended execution path.
- Map Trigger Data into Later Steps — use captured trigger fields and earlier node outputs in later steps.
- Test a Workflow Before Activating It — capture a sample, run a test, and review the execution results.
Before you activate
Check that the trigger is correct, every required connection is configured, and the nodes are connected as intended. Use representative test data and review the actions a run may perform before activating the workflow.
