Configure Facebook Messenger

Enable Facebook Messenger in Dragwyb Click to Chat, enter the Facebook Page ID, save settings, and test the destination link.

Dragwyb Click to Chat can add Facebook Messenger as a contact option in the floating channel widget. The channel registry uses a Facebook Page ID to build the Messenger destination link, so confirm that you enter the identifier for the intended Page.

Configure Facebook Messenger

  1. In WordPress, open Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General.
  2. In the Social Channels Widget module, select Configure Channels & Layout.
  3. In the channel configuration area, enable Facebook Messenger.
  4. Enter the intended value in the Facebook Page ID field. The plugin builds a Messenger URL using the https://m.me/ pattern and the value you supply.
  5. Review the channel’s available settings, then select Save Settings.

Test the destination

Open a frontend page where the widget is configured to appear and select the Messenger channel. Confirm that the link opens the intended Page or Messenger destination. If it does not, recheck the Page ID and ensure the channel is enabled and the widget is allowed on that page and device.

For the overall channel setup, see Floating Widget and Social Channels. To configure other destinations, see Configure Other Social Channels.
