Use [dctc_support_ticket_form] when a page should focus on submitting a support request instead of showing the full customer ticket list and conversation portal.
Add the standalone ticket form
- In WordPress, create or edit the page where customers should submit requests.
- Add a Shortcode block (or another supported shortcode area) and enter
[dctc_support_ticket_form]. - Publish or update the page, then open it on the frontend.
- Submit a test request using the same login or guest-access conditions intended for customers.
The shortcode uses the Support Portal’s form markup and frontend scripts. If guest ticket submission is disabled, a logged-out visitor is shown a login prompt instead of the form.
Optional shortcode attributes
The shortcode supports these attributes for adjusting the form presentation and launch behavior:
| Attribute | Purpose |
|---|---|
inline | Use true to render the form inline instead of using the default trigger behavior. |
title / subtitle | Override the form heading and supporting text. |
button_text / button_class | Customize the trigger button label and CSS class. |
trigger_id, trigger_button_id, trigger_selector | Identify the page element that should trigger the form; use the option that matches your markup. |
category_id | Preselect an existing support category by its ID. |
show_header | Show or hide the form header using true or false. |
For example, [dctc_support_ticket_form inline="true"] requests inline form rendering.
Check access and submission
- Confirm the Support Center module is enabled in Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General.
- Check the Support Portal guest-ticket setting if the form must be available to logged-out visitors.
- Submit a test request and verify that it appears in Support Center → Tickets.
- If customers also need to review existing requests, use Add a User Ticket List or publish the full customer support portal.
