Enable the Dragwyb Click to Chat modules your WordPress site needs from the plugin’s General settings. The Social Channels Widget, AI Assistant & Autonomous Chatbot, and Support Center & Helpdesk Ticketing have separate controls, so you can activate them independently.
Open module settings
- Sign in to your WordPress dashboard with an account permitted to manage plugin settings.
- Go to Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings.
- Open the 1. General tab.
- Find the Feature & Module Management area, where each module has its own switch and status badge.
Choose the module to enable
Turn on the switch for each module you want to activate. Check that its status changes to Active and that the related configuration area becomes available.
- Social Channels Widget: Enables the social and contact widget options. Its configuration area includes the
[dctc-widget]shortcode. - AI Assistant & Autonomous Chatbot: Enables the AI assistant module. Configure the assistant and any required provider settings before testing a conversation. See AI Assistant and Response Behavior for related guidance.
- Support Center & Helpdesk Ticketing: Enables the support and ticketing module. Its configuration area includes the
[dctc_support_portal]shortcode for embedding the support portal.
Screenshot to add: Replace the empty image above with a screenshot of Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General. Show the three module cards, their exact labels, switches, and status badges. Hide private site information.
Save and verify the selection
- Click Save Settings in the settings page header after changing the module switches.
- Wait for the Settings saved successfully! notice and the page reload.
- Return to Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General if needed.
- Confirm each selected module remains switched on and displays Active. Modules you left off should display Disabled.
Configure the enabled module
- For the Social Channels Widget, configure the channels and widget options you intend to show, then test the widget on your site.
- For the AI Assistant, configure its provider and behavior settings before sending a test message.
- For the Support Center, review the support settings and test the workspace or portal where visitors will use it.
If a module does not appear active
- Make sure you clicked Save Settings and waited for the success notice and reload.
- Check the module switch and status badge again in Dashboard → Click to Chat → Settings → 1. General.
- Remember that enabling a module does not necessarily configure all of its individual features. Review the module’s settings before testing it.
