Click to Chat Feature Overview

Understand the Social Channels, AI Assistant, and Support Center modules in Dragwyb Click to Chat, plus its WooCommerce and lead-capture workflows.

Dragwyb Click to Chat brings several visitor communication workflows into one WordPress plugin: social contact channels, an AI assistant, and a support center. You can enable these modules separately from the plugin’s General settings, then configure the features you intend to use.

This overview explains what each module is for and points you to the relevant setup guides. The available options depend on the module you enable and any integrations your site uses, such as WooCommerce.

Social Channels: give visitors a direct way to contact you

The Social Channels module provides floating or embedded contact options for supported channels. The plugin readme lists WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, phone, SMS, and email among its communication options.

Use this module when you want visitors to choose a familiar contact method instead of starting an AI conversation or submitting a support ticket. Configure the channels you actually use and test the links on desktop and mobile.

Screenshot to add: Replace the empty image above with a screenshot of the Social Channels settings showing the channel options, or a front-end preview of the configured floating contact widget. If you show settings, keep sensitive account details and private phone numbers hidden.

AI Assistant: answer questions using site content

The AI Assistant module provides a customer-facing chatbot and knowledge-base features. The plugin documentation describes retrieval-based answers from indexed WordPress content, with source links so visitors can open the referenced pages. The readme also documents OpenAI and Google Gemini integrations; available provider and model options should be checked in your installed version.

Before enabling the chatbot for visitors, review the provider connection, knowledge sources, assistant instructions, and fallback or handoff behavior relevant to your setup. Start with the AI Assistant and Response Behavior guides.

Support Center: manage customer requests as tickets

The Support Center provides a ticket-based helpdesk workflow. The plugin readme describes ticket creation and assignment, agent replies, private staff notes, ticket status and priority management, customer-facing support portals, and email notifications. It also documents guest ticket access and ticket classification features.

Choose this module if your team needs to track requests beyond a one-to-one chat. See Support Desk and Ticket Lifecycle and Guest Ticket Access and Privacy for the relevant workflows.

Screenshot to add: Replace the empty image above with a screenshot of the Support Center ticket list or an individual ticket conversation, showing useful ticket details and the agent reply area. Use dummy/example customer data and remove email addresses or other private information.

WooCommerce assistance and lead capture

Additional workflows described in the plugin readme include product recommendations and order-status assistance through the AI shopping experience, plus conversational lead capture with lead records and intent scoring. These workflows depend on the relevant module and integration being configured; they should not be assumed to be active simply because the plugin is installed.

If you use WooCommerce, review the WooCommerce Shopping and Orders guides. For collecting and qualifying prospective customers, see Lead Capture and Qualification.

Where to enable the modules

  1. In WordPress admin, open Click to Chat → Settings → General.
  2. Find the module controls for Social Channels, AI Assistant, and Support Center.
  3. Enable the module needed for your site and save the settings.
  4. Open that module’s own settings and complete its configuration. A module toggle does not replace provider credentials, knowledge-source setup, channel details, or support workflow configuration.
  5. Test the visitor-facing experience and confirm it behaves as expected before relying on it on your live site.
