Refresh the knowledge index when you add or change source material, update the set of WordPress content types to index, or need to make recent website content available to AI retrieval. Dragwyb Click to Chat also provides an Auto-Sync Content Updates option for supported website content changes.
Run a manual refresh
- Open Click to Chat → AI Assistant → Knowledge Base.
- Review the sources under Knowledge Sources, including direct text, URLs, and uploaded training documents.
- Open Database & Indexing and confirm the intended public WordPress content types are selected.
- Save any changed settings.
- Select Index Content Now to start indexing. If the task is queued, follow the progress shown on the screen until processing finishes.
- Ask a test question about content that was recently added or updated and compare the reply with the source.
Enable automatic synchronization
- In Database & Indexing, find Auto-Sync Content Updates.
- Enable it to allow supported website content to be indexed or updated in the background when published or edited, and removed from the index when moved to trash or unpublished.
- Save the settings and verify behavior with a test post type that is included in the index.
Auto-sync is not a substitute for checking the index after adding direct text, URLs, or training files, or after changing the selected content types. Run a manual indexing job when you need to process those changes or confirm that the updated source is available.
If updated content does not appear
- Check that the relevant post type is selected and the item is public.
- Check the displayed indexing status and any available AI error information.
- Use a direct question whose answer appears in the updated source.
- If results remain stale or irrelevant, run Index Content Now and test again after the job completes.
