Dragwyb Click to Chat can display clickable source citation pills beneath AI answers when Knowledge Base content is cited. Use this option to help visitors open the page that supports a reply. Source links appear only when retrieval provides links and source display is enabled; they are not guaranteed for every answer.
Enable source links
- Open Click to Chat → AI Assistant → Chatbot Settings → Style.
- Find Show Source Links in Answers.
- Enable the setting and save the Chatbot Settings.
- Confirm that the Knowledge Base has relevant sources indexed and that a test question retrieves source material.
Test the links
- Ask the chatbot a question whose answer appears in a known indexed page or product.
- Check whether source citation pills appear beneath the AI answer.
- Open each displayed link and verify that it leads to the expected source and supports the response.
- If no link appears, check that source display is enabled, relevant content is indexed, and retrieval returned a source URL.
The chat controller limits the displayed source list to up to three retrieved links when the setting is enabled. The setting does not create source links by itself and cannot validate whether a linked page fully supports the answer; review the links when checking response quality.
