Use the lead intent score in Dragwyb Click to Chat to prioritize follow-up, not to predict a sale with certainty. Each captured lead receives a score from 0 to 100, an intent label, and a factor-by-factor breakdown. You can review these values in the lead record and compare them with the visitor’s actual requirements before deciding what to do next.
Where to find lead scores
- In WordPress admin, open Click to Chat → AI Assistant → AI Leads.
- Use the lead filters, such as All Leads, New, Contacted, Qualified, Converted, or Discarded, to narrow the list.
- Find the lead and review its Lead Score and intent badge.
- Open the record to inspect its captured contact fields, requirement, conversation context where available, and Explainable Qualification Score Breakdown.
- Use the score alongside the visitor’s stated needs and your team’s follow-up criteria. Update the lead status only after reviewing the context.
How the 0–100 score is calculated
The plugin source uses a multi-factor scoring function. It adds points from the submitted form fields and requirement text, then caps the final total at 100. The configured factor maxima add up to 125 before that cap, so the score is capped rather than rescaled into a normalized percentage.
Scoring factors in the plugin source
- Contact information — up to 55 points: name adds 15; a valid email address adds 20; and a phone number with at least seven characters adds 20.
- Budget — up to 20 points: a provided budget adds 10, 15, or 20 depending on keyword matches. Values containing terms such as “high,” “enterprise,” “20k,” or “10,000” receive 20; terms such as “medium,” “5k,” or “1k” receive 15; other non-empty values receive 10.
- Purchase timeline — up to 15 points: a timeline containing “immediate,” “asap,” “urgent,” or “week” receives 15; “month” or “quarter” receives 10; another non-empty timeline receives 5.
- Business and product specificity — up to 20 points: company adds 5, company size adds 5, and product/service interest adds 10.
- Requirement and intent signals — up to 15 points: the requirement text is checked for terms including “quote,” “pricing,” “buy,” “purchase,” “cost,” “demo,” “contract,” “order,” “proposal,” “urgent,” and “asap.” Multiple matched terms, or “urgent”/“asap,” can result in 15 points; one matched term gives 10; a requirement of at least 20 characters without a matched term gives 5; otherwise it gives 0.
These are the rules implemented in the scoring function, not a guarantee that a budget phrase reflects a real budget or that a keyword proves buying intent. The function inspected uses field checks and keyword matching for this score; do not assume the numeric score is a prediction produced by an AI model.
Understand intent labels and score badges
The lead record also stores an intent label. In the source implementation, the requirement text determines this label: two or more matched buying-intent terms, or the words “urgent” or “asap,” produce Urgent; one matched term produces High; a requirement of at least 20 characters without those matches produces Medium; otherwise it is Low.
The dashboard’s score badge uses separate display bands: 70–100 is shown as High Quality, 40–69 as Medium, and 0–39 as Basic. The intent label and the numeric score are different signals, so a lead can have a score badge that does not use the same wording as its intent badge.
Screenshot to add: Replace the empty image above with a real screenshot of a test lead in Click to Chat → AI Assistant → AI Leads, showing the score and Explainable Qualification Score Breakdown. Use test data or redact names, email addresses, phone numbers, requirements, and other personal information. This image is a placeholder, not a captured screenshot.
How the qualification threshold affects status
The Auto-Qualification Score Threshold (0 – 100) setting is in Click to Chat → AI Assistant → Chatbot Settings → Advance → AI Lead Capture & CRM Integration. The source default is 70. When a lead is saved, a score at or above the configured threshold sets its initial status to Qualified; a score below it sets the initial status to New.
This threshold is configurable, while the dashboard’s High Quality/Medium/Basic badge bands are fixed in the admin UI code. If you change the threshold, the initial lead status can therefore differ from what the score badge suggests. Save any settings changes using Save Settings, then test with sample leads on both sides of the threshold.
Review and act on scores responsibly
- Check whether the contact details are complete and usable before prioritizing outreach.
- Read the budget, timeline, product interest, and requirement rather than relying only on the total.
- Confirm the score breakdown explains the points awarded; a keyword match may not reflect the visitor’s true intent.
- Use the status filters to organize follow-up, then update a lead to Contacted, Qualified, Converted, or Discarded as appropriate.
- Test the form and scoring with synthetic contact data before using the workflow with real visitors.
